My BF gave me this for our anniversary in Oct, at the peak of my bird obsession. Note the bird themed curtains and cushion.
God I love him, BF too, he's (sparrow) going to be great reference for my next work.

Pitch

Pitched for a job last week, I had to supply an illustration for a book coming out, a govt funded publication I think. Anyway, my poor brother had to model for me, I needed reference in a hurry...

I found a link to the artist I was talking about, with the amazing giant birds, the detail is epic, not to mention the scale.

His name's Hellovan, london guy. I love that its beautiful art for the sake of beautiful art.

Got a sweet job before Christmas doing some concept illustrations for a music festival.

New Work

From Ducks to Dobermans.
This is a pic I've been working on all week, pretty sure I know who its for.
I think my nest larger than life will be a sparrow.
I saw some amazing work by someone I don't recall, but I'm looking into it...
It was these massive outdoor billboards that an artist drew on site of birds in flight, so epic.
