One of a series of illustrated scamps I did at my last job for a retail re-fit.

A project I did in my last year of school I still really like. Even though I got a crap mark. It was huge, A1, watercolour.

A portrait of Emile, was looking at heaps of Ryden for technique at the time.

A character design I did ages ago, loosely based on Prince Phillip-like male. Was going through a paperback soft porn phase for reference.

A poster for a Wellington fashion house's 30th birthday, based on the branding I designed for them last year. Freaking awesome vintage shop. The party will be pretty cool too.

An internal publication I illustrated/Art directed where I used to work.
A twenty page illustrated booklet, I was pretty chuffed.
Drawn in pen, digitally coloured.

Scamp for pitch

Scamp for Airline pitch, I think it didn't get anywhere, but I love the image.

A concept scamp I did for a Wine Label proposal. One of three.

This week, as if something from the sky struck it down, I found a still warm, perfectly serene dead mallard.
This was after proclaiming there's something significant happening with this duck theme.
The really creepy part was that most people would leave it be, where it lay. But me? I picked her up and she travelled home in the cane basket of my old raleigh, Daphne.
There's a lone duck that now waddles past our house in the evening, I can't help but think it's her mate looking for her loved and lost one.

I've started something that feels important. About ducks. Plain old mama Mallards.
I don't know what it's for yet
